PitchWars 2017 has come to a close, NaNoWriMo wrapped up a few days ago, and many agents are closing their submissions inboxes until January.
For me, this means a bit of blessed silence. I’m not sending out any more queries until January and I’m putting my NaNoWriMo draft away for a few weeks to mentally marinate. For the first time since August I actually have a bit of free time each day and I’ve already cleaned my whole house.
I don’t expect that to last long.
As for the rest of December? You can find me curled up on a couch with some hot tea, reading through the many incredible PitchWars manuscripts I have on my new Kindle.
And with that, I’m off to make some tea.
PS- Shout out to all of the Author Mentor Match hopefuls who reached out to me. I really enjoyed reading your queries and pages and I hope my advice was useful. It was wonderful to see how many fascinating stories are out there waiting to be shared with the world. Best of luck to all of you diving into the query trenches. I’ll be cheering you on.
